Abby Hanson D.C.

Dr. Abby grew up in Lawrence, KS, and graduated from Free State High School. She then attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She attended Cleveland University in Overland Park, KS, and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Abby then came back to her hometown to open her own practice, The Chiropractic Element, in 2018 so she could serve the community that raised her.

She and her husband have four children: Edgar (20 months), Elsie (4), Sebastian (9), and Lilly (13). Dr. Abby enjoys caring for her house plants, practicing yoga & playing outside with her family in her free time.

Erin Mayer

Erin was born and raised in Lawrence, KS. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 2007.

She is the proud mother of two children, Danica and Atticus.

She is a dedicated sports mom and spends most of her free time transporting her children to and from practices and games. Erin also plays on the TCE coed softball team with Dr. Abby and Taylor.

Erin is a regular participant in the annual Lawrence Habitat for Humanity ReCreate & Celebrate fundraising event and has recently become a member of the planning committee for ReCreate.

Erin says her favorite part about working at The Chiropractic Element is that we provide a safe and non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome and feels like family.

Erin's bubbly personality brightens up the office and you can often find her laughing at her own jokes. With Erin at the front desk, you know you'll always be greeted with a smile!
